Release Fly Fishing Tournament 2014 ~
FISH THE GREAT SALMON RIVER!
Malone Revitalization Foundation will be hosting our 10th anniversary of the Hendrickson Hatch tournament on May 31 and June 1, 2014. Plan your calendar now for this year's tournament. Our updated 2014 brochure will be uploaded to this site by the end of March. If you would like to register early you may also print the 2013 brochure and send in a registration. For those planning to fish in early April, keep your eye on this site - I'll try to post a fishing report for the first week of season. Based on what the river looks like now, I would say it will be very difficult to fish the Salmon River the first week of trout season. Keep enjoying those winter sports - it will eventually come to an end. Happy fishing (even if it is ice fishing)! John
Flowing north through Franklin County, the Salmon River drains the foothills of the Adirondacks and winds its way through the town and village of Malone before dumping into the St. Lawrence River. Interested anglers may print a mail-in brochure for registration in this year's tournament. Members of the Malone Revitalization Foundation would like to thank all sponsors for supporting this event. Please visit the links below to learn more about this year's tournament sponsors. Special thanks to Brookfield Renewable Energy Group for being a premier sponsor for the 9th consecutive year.
